City of Light baptist church leadership

Nathan Robbins serves as the pastor of City of Light Baptist Church, overseeing the majority of the teaching and leadership. He has been happily married to Christie since 2011 and God has blessed their family with three children: Amelia, Margaret and Haddon.

His passion in ministry is to grow the kingdom through evangelism, and grow the body through discipleship.

City of Light Baptist Church is a mission church plant. Until the point that it is self-supported it is closely tied to Continental Baptist Missions for leadership, vision and accountability.  

Continental Baptist Missions is a family of missionaries and support staff with a passion for planting and revitalizing spiritually healthy, disciple-making Baptist churches in North America.

Faith Baptist Church in Camp Point, IL, is the sending church for the Robbinses. They provide prayer, financial and leadership support for the ministry of City of Light Baptist Church. 

City of Light Baptist Church strives to model the biblical pattern of partnership in the gospel. Faith Baptist Church takes the lead in this partnership along with numerous other churches and individuals.
